So, I need to see what you all think. I have been working on a fantasy story in my free time and wanted to know, is this a cover of a fantasy book that would catch your eye if it were in with every other fantasy book at a bookstore?
Would you see it and be interested in picking it up to see what it is all about?
Thank you very much. I have a good outline for the story already. I just need something that will make a great first impression so that it makes you want to pick it up off of a shelf.

It's pretty cool but I would go with maybe a bit brighter colored letters or something. It would be something I'd look at but it would have to catch my eyes first XD

I think that cover would work well. I like how it contrasts, and the smoke like stuff and the title are mysterious enough to get attention, at leat in my opinion. I can't wait to see what else comes from this. Also I love your icon. XD

Thats what I am going for of course. I tried to do something in a darker blue but when I printed it on paper it looked purple.
Ill see about adding in some blue behind the swirls or something like that to give it a "spirits" feel or swirling ethereal energy feel. The story is about magic, myth, and all that good stuff so the title just seems to fit with the story.

lol first person to ever mention my icon. Made it mehself Its my personal favorite anime of all time, also my personal disappointment because they claim so many excuses for not making a second season of it.
If only I had millions of dollars to invest in creating a season two

I know!!! My friend bought it. It was kick ass as all hell, except for the end. Hell even if there was a second season I'd be ticked that they ended the first one on such a huge cliffhanger. we never did find out why it was scrapped.

They claim several reasons ranging from lack of resources to not enough manga material to cover the next season (total bullshit). Oh well. Just one of those things you cant help.
